Club Night

This is held every Wednesday evening between April and September for more experienced paddlers. Members can learn further skills, take a trip up the river Axe or out to sea. In addition there are opportunities for further BCU skill assessments.

 

Beginners and Improvers

Sessions are held every Friday evening between the months of April  and September, leading to the British Canoe Union (BCU) 2 star standard.

 

Winter Paddling

During the winter months of October to March the club organises river paddles on the rivers Axe, Dart, Barle and others. Further details can be found on the "Events" page.

 

Membership

We have a range of fully equipped Canoes and kayaks including all the personal kit to go with them: buoyancy aids, cags, spray decks, helmets and over trousers. The club house has hot showers and facilities for  refreshments.

The minimum age to become a club member is 11 years.
