Seven members with kayaks and one open canoe went on the trip along: Tash, Steve, Callum, Ben, Nick, Chris & Colin.

21 Aug - Did the trip the best way round this year. Lower section in the morning, straight from the campsite down to Bala. Gave you time to get your confidence on the faster water and ending with Bala Falls. Steve attempted this section in an open canoe and swam several times including most of the way down Bala Falls. Then in afternoon, went down the upper section (9 cumecs) with a lot more confidence, finishing back at the camp site - all in kayaks.

22 Aug - One more trip down the upper section with Tash in the open canoe (& no swims for Tash). Ben and Nick had a play on cafe Wave, resulting in Nick having a long and bumpy swim down to the egress and Ben having to go half a mile to capture Nick's kayak - Thanks Ben.
